Additionally, you can choose to go for a Master’s program that centers on independent research. With this, you will have to study one subject closely with the guidance of a supervisor, producing a thesis or dissertation.

Doctorate/PhD

Before you go for Master’s programs, you will first have to acquire a  Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

If you are going to undergo a doctorate program in Europe as a full-time student, the program will last for 3 or 4 years. But your years of study will be more than that if you do part-time programs.

This degree program is mainly for those passionate about research and discoveries. Suppose you want to become a specialist in a specific field of study, work as an academician, or industry researcher. In that case, a doctorate is vital to acquire after completing your master’s degree.

While applying for this degree in any European institution, you must submit a research proposal that will outline what your doctorate will aim to achieve.
